Upload your Photos faster

To all friendster addicts all over the web, here’s a great technique I wonna share. These makes your uploading more faster using Microsoft Paint only. WOnna try?! Check it out..

1. Open your friendster account.
2. In your homepage, look for Upload Photos.



3. Then just press Browse.
4. To select more pictures files in one group, just press Ctrl then click the pictures you want to. For faster uploading, just set your first 10 pictures.
5. Now you will notice that files more than 2mb has not been accepted by friendster. Because this free account limits their clients to upload 2mb size per file. THey will automatically disregard files more than this limit and prompts an error as long with its filename.
6. Now open MS Paint. Start Menu -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Paint
7. Press Ctrl + O.
8. Choose picture file.
9. Ctrl + W ( Stretch and Skew )
10. Set horizontal and vertical to 50 then press Enter.
11. Press Ctrl S to Save your work.
12. THen close paint.
13. You will notice that your picture file is resized to kb instead of mb.
14. Much lesser much faster!
    

Make your compress files executable…

WinRAR (a.k.a. RAR) is a shareware file archiver and data compression utility developed by Eugene Roshal. It is one of the few applications that is able to create RAR archives natively, as the encoding method is held to be proprietary. More Info…

It enables you to compress files and make it an archive. But  take note that file compression depends on the user settings. Maybe it can compress your files into one file but still the size of the files archives cannot be taken place if your settings is in correct.

Below is a list of procedure to compress files to archive. Ok let’s start.

1. For example, a have a file and I name it ‘designs’ and I place it in my desktop.

2. Right-click select Add  to Archive.

3. Now set your properties:

Archive name: design or replace it with your own filename

Archive format: RAR or ZIP. This the extension of your filename (design.rar/design.zip)

Compression Method: Please select Store.

Update Mode: Add and Replace Files

Archiving Options: Create SFX Files

Then simply press OK.

4. Wait till your files are put into archive. The speed of archiving depends on the size of file to be compressed, pc speed, hard drive space, memory left in your pc.
