WHAT IS A VECTOR?
According to http://www.mustek.com.tw/Class/bit_vec.html
In short, vectors are better than bitmap in quality. Eventhough they have differences and vector has more advantage in those differences, bitmap is also useful defending in application. For example, I use photoshop in bitmaps and I use Coreldraw in vectors.
Another thing I love in vectors is measurements. Unlike Photoshop, you can create personalized your layout, logo or any other vectors images using proper margins and sizes. Thanks to the developers of this stuff. Measurement become positive that is equal to the actual measurement in reality.
